The B550X supercore functions as a versatile turbocharger designed to achieve a maximum horsepower of 550HP. It incorporates an innovative double ceramic ball bearing, which extends its lifespan and enhances spool-up speed. To ensure durability during demanding driving conditions, the turbocharger features a water-cooled CHRA that effectively minimizes temperature. The turbos themselves are constructed using Inconel, a robust superalloy that retains its strength even under prolonged exposure to high exhaust temperatures. Additionally, the turbo exhaust housings offer a range of choices, including different A/R and flange configurations.

- The JP Turbo dual ceramic ball bearing, protected by a patent, operates with minimal friction, enabling it to function at lower required force and provide an early RPM boost. The ceramic ball is composed of Si3N4, a finely ground ceramic material known for its high precision. Its spherical surface exhibits a flawless mirror finish. When combined with a high-temperature, wear-resistant, shock-resistant, and lightweight retainer cage, our bearings outperform other ball bearings by delivering an earlier boost.

Balanced by Schenck balancing machine
Precise balancing is a crucial process in the production of JP Turbo. A well-balanced turbocharger is vital for ensuring excellent performance and reliability, as well as minimizing the noise generated during high-speed operation. To achieve the best balance, we have strict operating standards in place. We start by performing low-speed dynamic balancing using a high-precision single-piece balancing machine. Then, we assemble the CHRA parts with great care before subjecting them to high-speed dynamic balancing. Our state-of-the-art high-speed dynamic balancing machine can reach a maximum speed of 250,000 RPM, surpassing OEM standards. We assign a unique serial number to each turbo and keep the balance test results in our database for future reference. The Schenck balancing machine ensures that the turbos are balanced to perfection.
